1968 GT-500 Shelby Cobra This is the real deal, a genuine Shelby GT-500
It is well on its way to a concourse frame
off rotisserie restoration with 100% new and rebuilt mechanicals. The Shelby
is super high quality in the very desirable "bullet" Highland Green
metallic. This Shelby has several "new" restoration techniques and
procedures used on it, including a stainless steel fuel tank, the epoxy red
oxide primer, and our brand new Sikens 2 stage paint system. All of the metal
work has been "leaded in" and all spot welds were done with our new
liquid cooled spot welder. Seam sealing was in the new poly spray seam sealer.
The quality of the work speaks for itself. All AMK bolt sets are being
used in the assembly.
This Shelby is available for sale now at 129K, the car is 98 % complete, the engine is a 428 PI and appears to be the original, the trans has been changed to a 4 spd and its the big spline RUG-AE, the rear-end has been rebuilt and detailed. really you have to see the car in person to appreciate it. we would love to complete the restoration for the new owner.
1969 Shelby GT-500 Tribute This mustang started out as a 70 Mach one, it had some rust, typical of cars here in Colorado, we replaced the floor pans and rear quarter panels, all the work was done on rotisserie #1 and we media blasted the body before and after the repairs were made. The shell was primed in our Exclusive Colar red oxide direct to metal epoxy primer. We installed a 69 radiator support and tail lamp panel to get the chassis to 69 specs, we also installed 428 CJ re-enforced shock towers. The chassis now looks "NOS" The car is scheduled to be refinished in the new DuPont Chroma Premier single stage paint system in Grabber Blue, it will have the white deluxe interior Factory 1966 GT Fastback, wimbleton white, with Ivy gold and white pony interior, this mustang is undergoing a frame off restoration and light restomod improvements, the engine is a Ford Racing 347 dressed out to look like a 66 Shelby K code engine, the entire drive train, brakes and suspension have been meticulously restored. The car still retains its original door tag and it is a factory 4 speed car with the super rare traction lock rear diff. I would describe the work so far as a super high level nut and bolt restoration, the car runs and lot drives and is waiting for its new owner to finish up the job. Complete price is 119,995
