This is a 1967 Mustang GT Fastback we are currently restoring, the last picture is showing a quality assurance check prior to being removed from rotisserie #2 . This attention to detail is very important when a restoration of this magnitude is performed.  At this point its difficult to tell the car has ever been worked on or had any panel replacement.

1969 Mustang Mach 1 428 R Code, Drag Pac

This is a Very Desirable Muscle car, perhaps the best Mustang ever made, Acapulco Blue, Black deluxe interior with the 428 SCJ, super cobra jet engine package, 4 speed. very fast, and worthy of a top notch restoration. This car is for sale

As you can see, its pretty well rusted

We perform this reconstruction on a frame rack, we have all the measurement libraries, this car will have lines and panels fitments better than when Ford did it.

Check out the details, exhaust hanger supports into the frame rails

R codes and Boss 302 have staggered shocks to help with traction, here we are re-installing that feature, close inspection reveals a totally original appearance.

We are replacing damaged sections of metal in the roof sub structure, you can see the roof will be re-attached just like the factory did it, unfortunately ford assembled the car and left all this metal bare, these subassemblies will be primed with direct to metal epoxy primer and weld through primer before being final installed, a vast improvement in quality.

Roof section begin re-fitted to the chassis, some of the parts are media blasted at this stage, the car is scheduled to go on rotisserie # 3 sometime in April, the completed unibody will be media blasted and prepped for Direct to metal primer

The body has been, re media blasted and primed in direct to metal epoxy primer, it looks like an NOS shell, next we applied a new product similar to a bed liner and seam sealed the nooks and crannies, then High build Sikens Colorbuild primer. cool huh? you really have to see the car to appreciate it.

We restored a 67  Mustang Fastback for this customer a couple of years ago, he liked the work, so now we are building  his other dream car!

As you can see its going to be very nice, it has the Heights superride 2 front suspension, a corvette 427 engine that we built. Future plans include a 700R4 trans, Vintage air kit, chrome tilt column with push button start. We construct muscle cars to you specs.
